The Nursery & Child Care Ministry is designed to care for and help young children and their families who attend the various services and events at our church.Through this ministry, young children are exposed to their first experiences in a church environment through compassionate nurturing and early learning opportunities. The attendance and engagement of parents during our church services is also facilitated by providing a safe and loving environment for their children. Here at FBC, we offer child care during both morning worship services as well as during Wednesday night activities and for special events when necessary. Our Nursery & Child Care Ministry facilities are located in the Pre-school Department of the Family Life Center.
A Note on Safety
All of our paid nursery workers, Sunday morning "Guardian Angel" volunteers, and children's Sunday School teachers/assistants, as well as any church member who works with any of our children and youth under 18 years of age, must annually participate in our Child Protection Policy training.
Training is offered each summer in a group setting before our Vacation Bible School or on an individual basis as needed for those volunteering to work with our children and youth.
Contact Mitzie Eubank or the church office for more information.
"Guardian Angels" Needed
Volunteers are needed to help take care of our little ones during the Sunday morning worship services.
Help is needed at both the 8:45 and 11:00 a.m. services so that no one has to volunteer too often.
Please contact Nancy Pelter if you feel led to care for our precious little ones.
